What is the controversy surrounding Kiccha Sudeep about the Hindi language? What did Ajay Devgn tweet about the Hindi language? What Kiccha Sudeep and Ajay Devgn controversy is all about? All questions have been answered.
It all started when Kiccha Sudeep gave an interview on KarnatakaTak News channel. In the interview, Kiccha Sudeep said, “Hindi is no more a national language. So which is the national language?”.
Further at an event for the movie launch, Kiccha Sudeep said,
“You said that a pan India film was made in Kannada. I’d like to make a small correction. Hindi is no more a national language. They (Bollywood) are doing pan-India films today. They are struggling (to find success) by dubbing in Telugu and Tamil, but it’s not happening. Today, we are making films that are going everywhere.”
Clubbing the above 2 statements, Sudeep mainly said that Hindi was no more a national language. The reason is (according to Sudeep) that despite Hindi movies being released all over the country, they find little success in the Hindi belt-speaking regions, and regional movies from the south are getting love and accepted all over the country.
