Trivia about the movie – Shahid Kapoor was the first choice to play the lead role. However, he thought this character is similar to that is Jab We Met. Hence, he declined.

About the movie – Ranbir Kapoor wants to settle in the United States with his girlfriend. However, he is forced to enter politics after his father dies and sees the experiences realities of life.

Trivia about the movie – Raajneeti was initially not given approval by CBFC as the then government thought Katrina Kaif’s role is similar to Sonia Gandhi’s. However, director Prakash Jha convinced the censor board that the parallels have been drawn from Mahabharata, and not Congress-led UPA.
3. Bombay Talkies
About the movie – Ranbir Kapoor makes a guest appearance in the film. So technically, Bombay Talkies is the third in the series of Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif movies together. The film is an amalgamation of four short films titles Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh, Star, Sheila Ki Jawaani and Murabba.

4. Jagga Jasoos
About the movie – Jagga, the character played by Ranbir, is abandoned by his father and the former’s enrolment in a boarding school. He is unable to locate his father. When he grows up, he initiates a search with the help of Shruti who is a journalist, played by Katrina Kaif.

Trivia about the movie – Govinda was supposed to appear in the movie but his part was cut-off. There was an uproar in social media due to this but Ranbir apologised to him saying the cuts were done for the betterment of the film.
Another 4 Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif Movies We Could Have Possibly Seen
1. Bachna Ae Haseena (2008)
Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif were initially finalised for two of the leading roles. However, Katrina Kaif’s character was later removed.
2. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)
Ranbir Kapoor was one of lead choices of Director Zoya Akhtar. But he opted out for unknown reasons. If speculations are to be believed, he decided to not take the offer as he felt too old to be playing the role of Farhan’s friend.
3. Barfi (2012)
Ranbir and Katrina were both first choices of Director Anurag Basu. However, Katrina Kaif opted out due to unknown reasons. Some speculate that it was because Priyanka Chopra was given a much stronger role.
4. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013)
We do not know where Katrina Kaif turned down the offer, but media reports suggest that Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma were among the choices. However, as we know, the role eventually went to Deepika Padukone.
