Mastram is an adult web series that was released on MX Player on 30th April 2020. Within months of release, Mastram had garnered over a billion views from all the episodes of season 1. Thanks to lockdown, people watched the web series, again and again. Mastram as a series was a big hit.

The second reason, which is believed to be true, is the tussle between Mastram’s producer and MX Player. As Mastram’s rights were sold to MX Player, the show’s producer asked for more royalty due to an increase in Mastram’s popularity and views. The producer’s request was rejected by MX Player and the matter went into court where an order was given to take down the show.
Mastram on Which OTT Platform
After the removal of Mastram from MX Player, people have been searching for legit ways to watch and download Mastram. Can Mastram be watched on ALTBalaji? Is Mastram available to stream on Ullu? Can Mastram be watched and downloaded on Netflix and Prime Video? These are common questions people have been searching for. At present, Mastram cannot be watched anywhere on OTT platforms in India or anywhere across the world. MX Player was the only platform where Mastram was made available. With the removal of Mastram from MX Player, the show is nowhere to be seen on OTT channels. The MX Player still has the page about the Mastram web series on their website, but the content has been removed long back.
Will Mastram Return to MX Player Again?
There is no possibility of Mastram Season 1 returning to MX Player anytime soon. No official announcement has been made in this regard.
